- Claim to Fame? Tried out for Nashville Star and made it pretty far in the auditions. I also write lyrics and have had about 5 songs demoed out for me.
Roy is from Mountain City, TN. He has been with his wife, Amy, for 24 years, and they dated for less than 8 weeks before they got married. He has two sons – Landry, the oldest, who lives in Oklahoma, and Garrett who lives in Boone. In his free time, Roy likes to ride his Daytona Blue Harley Street Glide, make BBQ and The BEST Sweet Tea, go the range and shoot with his wife, and play with his two dogs.
